Sometimes we have those things that come up out of nowhere that we have to deal with. Often times a something will just pop up. For example, I recieved a notification that I'm in some program that's supposed to look really good on college applications, but it interferes with my running. Plus, I was elected a student-judge for the student court, a magnificent invention by my high school. I have a mandatory meeting tomorrow at 3:15. Plus, we have a new Spanish project, and we switched classes, and I tried asking the love of my life to a movie Saturday (it didn't work out, she's grounded now, but V-Day is coming up!) Anyways, if I was who I used to be, I would crumble under all the pressure I'm under. Lately, I've learned that pressure should be welcomed, not shunned. If there is no pressure or challenge, where's the fun in life? If I pushed these away, quit running, opted out of the program, I'd be screwing myself over. So instead I put a smile on and enjoy a day with friends in school. Like elvaofamillion said, see everything as beautiful, not ugly. If all you do is look at the bad side of things, you'll just do that all the time. I know it's a huge cliche, but you've gotta look on the bright side of things. Not just for your sake, but for others. When I failed to get a date with my crush, I remained upbeat, because it was circumstance that prevented us. I plan on taking another shot at her in two weeks or so (V-Day!). More often than not, things won't go according to plan. Instead of sulking over it, the best thing to do is play Rock Band expert drums for 5 hours (no, that's just me). Do something stress-relieving, whatever it is. Read a book, watch TV, play with a family member or friend. Remember, adjusting is critical to maintaining happiness.

So heartfelt, *tear, tear* so beautiful, Benji!!! Total cliche by the way, Ms Rea will be displeased!
